I was absolutely charmed by the cozy vibes and the stunning outdoor pool! The staff were super friendly, making my stay feel like a home away from home. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise each morning, fueling my adventures!
Would definitely recommend! 😊❤️

The location is perfect for exploring nearby shops and restaurants. The bathroom had low water pressure and was dirty. Staff was friendly.

The room felt uninviting and dirty. There were no blankets on the bed, making it cold at night. The heater struggled to reach a comfortable temperature, which was a challenge. The bathroom was particularly concerning; it had hair in the tub and dirty surfaces. The lack of basic amenities, like a working TV and sufficient light, was frustrating. I had to switch rooms due to issues with cleanliness and comfort. The bed was lumpy, making sleep difficult. Despite some convenience with the breakfast, the overall condition of the room left much to be desired.

Affordable accommodation, convenient location with free parking and 24-hour reception that allowed me to check in late after a long drive.

We checked into our room and immediately regretted it. It stank of smoke, had peeling paint, and the bathroom was tiny with grime everywhere. The shower was scalding hot, and there was hair all over the floor. Just gross!

The staff were friendly and the breakfast area was clean and stocked. The rooms were really filthy and needed a lot of repairs. My first room had no electricity and the next one stank of smoke.

The room had a persistent, foul odor that no air freshener could mask. I encountered maintenance issues everywhere: non-functioning lights, a faucet that ran all night, and missing essentials like a shower curtain and toilet paper. The cleanliness was appalling; stained linens, dirty floors, and leftover items from a previous guest. Though the price caught my attention, the overall experience felt unsafe and unsanitary. It's clear this establishment is in dire need of attention and management. The staff tried to be helpful, but that can't compensate for the myriad of failures I encountered. Save your money and seek a hotel worthy of your stay. Disappointment isn't what you should expect.

Just a balanced option for exploring town in Lubbock with good price value. Nice staff was the only positive.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The housekeepers made an effort to assist with room cleanliness and guest comfort. The hotel's proximity to the downtown area and main attractions was convenient for walking around.
The room had a strong unpleasant odor. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with stained blankets and dirty furniture.

The location was great and easy to get around. I enjoyed the room's comfort and quietness, perfect for some alone time.
It wasn’t the cheapest option I found, but it’s still an acceptable choice.

I lucked out with a great deal for an unplanned city trip. The location was ideal, right downtown, and the late check-out option was a game-changer for our schedule. The staff was accommodating, considering we had an unexpected stay.
The hotel experience fell short of expectations. The room had a mix of unpleasant odors, and cleanliness left much to be desired.

The atmosphere was electric! Surrounded by Texas Tech University and Mackenzie Park, we enjoyed the vibrant entertainment district and the interactive Buddy Holly museum. The golf courses were a hit with the kids!
My wife says that a children's play area would enhance the family experience.

Horrifying experience from the start. The lobby restroom was a red flag, and the rooms confirmed my fears—dirty, unsafe, and poorly maintained. I saw multiple rooms; all were in disrepair, with stains and broken fixtures everywhere. The pictures online don't match reality at all. On the plus side, the price was low and it was close to our destination. Still, we felt uneasy, especially in a place like this with kids. We left without staying, hoping to get a refund that still isn’t resolved. Definitely not a family-friendly option.

The hotel is just a short walk from amazing spots like the Buddy Holly Center, which is less than 3 km away, and the lively Joyland Amusement Park, just over 2 km. there's plenty of dining options nearby, like Fuzzy's Taco Shop and local breweries, all within a 15-minute stroll. The amenities of the hotel were decent for a comfortable stay, but the overall maintenance and cleanliness could really use some improvement.

The staff is friendly and professional. The coffee in the lobby and the complimentary snacks are a nice touch.
The decor seemed stuck in the past and could use a refresh.

We hit up a Red Raiders game and explored Texas Tech University. Shopping in The Hub City was dope, and Mackenzie Park was off the chain. The entertainment district had us hyped all day!
Wish there was a sick rooftop bar for us youngins to party the night away! .

I woke up to fancy Bright Side Breakfast each morning, including Texas-shaped waffles. Lubbock is a mix of Texas charm and hospitality. I enjoyed the free internet and parking.
Was I supposed to stay for the moldy surprises in my room? .

I chose Baymont By Wyndham Lubbock - Downtown Civic Center for its convenient location near the attractions I wanted to visit. The free WiFi throughout the property was a pleasant surprise, and the daily breakfast in the lobby was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore.
Maintenance issues throughout the property.

During our recent stay at the Baymont, I was really disappointed with the overall experience. The room was a mess, with blood stains on the sheets and holes in the walls. The lighting was terrible, and there was no coffee pot in the room despite having coffee supplies. The air conditioner was filthy and didn't seem to be functioning properly. As someone with experience in housekeeping, I was shocked by the lack of cleanliness. the front desk staff was very friendly, which was a small consolation considering the state of the room. the property itself was dirty inside and out. The room appeared to have never been cleaned properly, with hair, including pubic hair, all over the bathtub. It was a truly unpleasant experience, made even worse by the presence of a questionable crowd of people frequenting the hotel. The lack of cleanliness and concerning atmosphere made us feel unsafe and unwelcome.
